Food insecurity resulting from drought, climate change, land loss, and reduced mobility. Limited rainfall and access to grazing land affect livestock survival, directly impacting food availability and household income.
What the Project Does
Maasai Water Project supports food security through livestock distribution, emergency food support, and community-based food systems. The work includes providing cows and goats to widowed women, elderly people, and vulnerable households, and supplying essential food during periods of drought and severe scarcity.
